Very supportive approach if impacted by sickness
Each time you are ill, you need to complete a Return to work interview with your Line Manager. In a way, this is good as it helps the Manager to see if some assistance is required for you. For example any special seating or desk requirements.
No sick pay unless you signed off by your GP then its statutory £85.00 PW from the government .
Hassle during sick periods but overall depending on contract great entitlement.
For critical and long term sickness absence 28 weeks full sick pay, and later switch back to group insurance sick pay.
Up to 26weeks full pay before going on an income protection scheme up to 5 years.
Standard 3 days without doctors note. Complete return to work form after.
