Good: - Eye Tests: Test can be expensed, but no contributions to glasses if required. - Childcare vouchers. - Shower room: company provide shower gels, towels. - Friday drinks & snacks in the office. - Monthly new starter lunch, sandwich platters and snacks provided. - Kitchen stocked with fruit, chocolates, biscuits, sweets, breads and spreads, porridge, weetabix, squash, fizzy drinks (coke, diet coke, coke zero). - Arcade machine (company built!), table football, tv. - Company weekend away (UK) - Partner's and children welcome! All paid for by company (except travel). Bad: - Pension: seriously needs looking considering how important it is to people. Company give the minimum they can legally. - Performance based bonuses given to certain job roles. Not everyone receives them - could be a nice incentive if given to more employees? Overall some really great benefits, but the crucial one that stands out is pension plan!
The benefits are a little out of date. No free healthcare etc. Min pension contributions. Best is free tea, coffee and toast.
Industry standard package, with holidays, flexible hours, pension, salary sacrifice, bike to work, season ticket loan, etc.
They add their contribution to pension into your salary so that if you don't want it you get the cash, it's a good option but does mean your "salary" looks higher than it is when comparing to others. I also use the Childcare vouchers and there is sick pay
Good pention benefits and healthcare
The salary is good but the benefits package isn't as good as competitors. Most places in Leeds now pay into your pension. Usually 10-15% of your salary. BJSS provide the legal minimum on that front.
You get paid a good salary and use that to purchase benefits at an advantageous rate. So if you dont want a benefit you can just get paid the money instead
Lowest legally possible pension plan. No bonus.
