Good pension scheme and ability to work from home
Good health insurance pension etc
Large amount of benifits available.
Was a contract so not applicable
Life insurance of 10 times base salary
I was just an intern for a few months over the summer so I am not well versed with the benefits package. The standard number of days for annual leave pro rata was granted. They were understanding on the one day I needed to be absent for medical reasons.
25 annual leave, healthcare, dental care and travel insurance.
Getting more difficult to get promoted
Benefits package is OK but not outstanding. Most office locations are OK, if a little shabby, but don't have facilities like gyms or electric car charging points. Pension contribution matching up to 10% is by far the best element of the benefits package. There used to be a company car programme but this has been cancelled for all except the senior management tiers. There is a facility for buying company shares but this is effectively just a zero-interest saving scheme for share options, and you could just buy the shares on the open market. As the firm is an ISP we get free home broadband, and there are small staff discounts for the BT Shop. It will also pay for membership of a professional body like IET. 25 days of paid holiday plus public holidays, all pro rata to fiscal year in first year of employment and in full afterwards. Two weeks of paternity/adoption leave. Death in service insurance is included, and there are options to buy additional insurance like serious illness coverage, private health insurance, travel insurance and so on, but these cost extra. No free coffee/tea or free fruit/snacks. No budget or time allocated for training, or for attending conferences.
Optional annual leave is 30 days in total
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
