Balfour Beatty pay their staffs sick benefits, up until a certain period before such is halved. But reasonably, they pay their staff sick benefits

It’s definitely a lot better than the 5 days I got after 2 years in my last job! It increases by length of service but for the first 3 months you get no paid sick days. It’s different for staff vs hourly paid though.

The benefit summary is no different to any other civil contracting business. You are paid for your time, that is the main contributor to your compensation/ benefits.
