staff discount 12.5% (22.5% on Boots items). Worked on fragrance and had a quarterly allowance to purchase an item
There was good holiday pay as well as staff discount. Which is great if you wanna buy expensive perfumes for yourself of as a gift for someone. Plus you get good experience to put on your CV, which is really helpful!
You get a staff discount card where you get 12.5% off anything not boots brand and 22.5% off anything that is boots brand. You also get 4 weeks holiday but if you leave half way through a year, you may owe Boots money back.
Lots of choice of benefits including gym membership discount cards discounts on cinema tickets and offer schemes are really good
Staff discount card is brilliant, roughly 25% off Boots own brands like No7 and 12.5% off everything else. Events like staff double discount (increases your discount to 50%!) make christmas a breeze. Money off Boots Opticians services including free eye tests.
discount 22.2% on boots, 12.5% on non-boots
They look after you and the staff store card and points for staff with the advantage card are a real plus
Good things: Discount card. Benefits Box - has usual high street discount opportunities, health club discount etc. You can also give to benevolent fund which helps employees and ex-employees in time of hardship Started offering Paternity leave for longer than statuary min. Buy holidays - always feels expensive!! Worst things: Bonus - as a retail organisation this is hard to gain. Probably not something you should consider will happen. Also difficult for colleagues in the support office to influence on a day to day basis Pay rise - Pay rise has recently been 1% or 2%, unless you are significantly under paid. Difficult/impossible to get more than that. Pay disparity is huge across levels. Salaries are a massive secret at Boots, due to length of service impact and previous more generous packages which are no longer available.
You did not get paid for having a sick day or two off. But if ill all week you got paid after the first three days
Not many perks. Discount is average.
