Staff discount is pretty decent, progress within company is poor unless your friendly with management
great staff discount and offers
Company perks, easy enough job.
Good staffs discount and good opportunity to learn. Good management and good salary
benefit: 4/5 weeks time off in a year was the best thing .. Worst thing: no salary hike
If you want to buy extra holiday (max. up to 1 week) then you can BUT if your line manager won’t approve your request then you could end up with a week’s extra holiday that you can’t use. Make sure you get it approved before you spend your money! Holiday booking isn’t consistent either - it should be approved on a 1st come, 1st served basis but this never happens, you still have to wait months after submitting your holiday requests (which have to be placed a year in advance) to be approved/declined. The next thing is the bonus scheme (only applicable if company meets its high targets for whole financial year), this isn’t fair across the board, only a small percentage of colleagues receive a bonus. Either give everyone a bonus or don’t give one at all. Government pension scheme applies to Boots. That’s about it. No extra perks.
The best thing is the discount card and the great staff shop where many products are sold at a fraction of the price. The worst thing is that the basic salaries aren't that high, especially in stores.
Discount is good when the items are already on sale.
good hourly pay and overtime on top of contract
I didnt get any as I worked for under three months, this is a shame as it was my contract
