Working for a well established organisation. Travel is the obvious benefits - both experiences at work and discounted flights for friends and family.
Discounted travel is a great perk but can also be very stressful due to the nature of standby. Sometimes even the best plans get ruined. Often wonder if the stress is worth it.
staff travel is the best package as you can go anywhere on the network and see some amazing places
Great travel benefits. Which get better the longer you stay with the company.
The best areas of benefit would be the legacy pension arrangements but will be changing moving forward and staff travel.
No private healthcare provided, good employer offering travel concessions
Staff travel compared to other airlines is not great. You have 2 nominees changeable every 6 months on your staff travel for a standby ticket in the first 5 years. This is only a standby listing and not a guaranteed seat. After 5 years you get a “free ticket” plus your standby tickets. A free ticket is not free. You still pay the tax to NYC and back is roughly £172 per person. However depending on seats available you will be confirmed so it is better than standby and rushing last minute. They are in the process of changing the pension which is having mixed feelings across the business however it is better for newer employees
Travel around the world for fraction of cost. Amazing hotel discounts
Fantastic benefit package, but flights are on standby. After 5 years working there, you get a perk of an annual business class ticket (taxes have to be paid still)
There is nothing really outstanding about the benefits packages - discounts are similar to other companies and some discounts are not really discounts as you end up paying for them (in some form or another) via the exclusive clauses and related constraints of use
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
