‘Best generous benefits Not all jobs allow you to work from home’
‘Staff travel benefits are much better than non-airline companies but not as good as other airlines offer’
‘26 days per year + bank holidays’
amazing benefits , great flights. Thanks
Pension is good as are the travel perks but the bonus is at a company level so not always paid so does not link to performance.
Staff Travel after 6 months of employment with access to Economy and Premium Standby on British Airways and Economy standby on numerous other airlines Other benefits can be selected such as Cycle2Work scheme, medical insurance, etc
Decent staff travel discounts and travel opportunities
bonus scheme, discounted flights , other standard company benefits
BA has a great staff travel scheme. Once you've hit 5 years of service you are entitled to 1 set of bookable tickets per year. This is when you can travel and only pay the taxes on the ticket. They are not confirmed bookings and subject to availability on the flight. However, it will allow you to travel in premium cabins at a reduced price.
Health insurance, cash plan, dental, pension
a very good benefit package
Performance related benefits. Statutory maternity leave. Flexibility / hours depends on line manager and the role.
Great things: reduced price on flights and hotels for yourself, friends and family (hotline, great value on Shorthaul). Life insurance is very good for death in service (8x annual salary). Good things: staff travel benefits (you only get to fly if there's space left, rates are much better than commercial customers but are more expensive than those offered by most other airlines to their staff, and it's stressful to never know for sure if you'll get to fly. But you do get to fly in Business or First!). Pension benefits are solid. Poor benefits: due to covid (but also happened in the past due to extremely poor leadership under former CEO Alex Cruz), do not expect a bonus anytime soon (some were very good in the past!). Maternity pay is appalling and very uncompetitive for knowledge workers (legal minimum only, irrespective of seniority level in the company).
