Staff travel is the best benefit although this can be fairly stressful as you can only travel if there are unsold seats available after check in.

The private health insurance is being consistently eroded along with the whole benefits package. It’s a stealthy cost cutting exercise as its part of the remuneration “package” that comes under the least scrutiny. The staff travel is the best perk.... of you can use it. Many people cannot due to their situation. It’s great if you’re a) single b) don’t have children c) don’t travel during school holidays.
Holiday entitlement was great but at the same time, it was limited as it was a constant struggle to get a full week approved unless you were doing it a year ahead and even then, you would often be waitlisted as they only allowed 2 people maximum for the same day. Staff travel was a perk I never used but heard great and awful things about it; I would suggest choosing a route that had a lot of flights, not something like the Maldives, you’re just dreaming then. The pension was okay but the new pension that they’ve brought in seems to benefit the new contracts better.
You can travel almost anywhere in the world for very little money.
there were many benefits package with BA for example they gave discounted flights tickets and hotels to all their employees and the employees received family and friends rates on flights and hotels.
Working for a well established organisation. Travel is the obvious benefits - both experiences at work and discounted flights for friends and family.
Discounted travel is a great perk but can also be very stressful due to the nature of standby. Sometimes even the best plans get ruined. Often wonder if the stress is worth it.
staff travel is the best package as you can go anywhere on the network and see some amazing places
Great travel benefits. Which get better the longer you stay with the company.
