CGI have a fairly comprehensive policy for long term sick staff, with an option to augment salary beyond that period to 75% (rather than 66%) so long as it is in place before an employee falls ill.
I've actually been off sick for a number of months during my time at CGI and they have been extremely helpful in this regard.
Sickness is closely monitored, too much sick leave and you're given an interview to find out why. This encourages staff to bring their germs into work instead of recovering at home
