Offer good sick pay benefit.
3 weeks sick pay was the best benefit as people who tuped over were only allowed one week of sick pay
It only kicks in after working there for over a year I believe.

Sick pay was standard. However management attitude towards sickness (especially long term or mental illness) was appaling.
Nothing special. Just like any other employers scheme.
Bereavement Leave: If its your mum or dad/ immediate family, you are entitled to 48 hours then be ready to carry on working as normal, sickness is paid 14 days then unpaid, 7 days then self serve sick note, then 14 days doctors note. Longer periods you will need to be booked into Occupational Health, this can be in several locations in which you will need to go to and will not be reimbursed your travel
The sick pay is good once you have worked tere a long time. It ridiculously low otherwise.
This was one of the benefits of Capita, 6 months full pay, 6 months half pay which is just as well really due to the number of staff on leave due to work related stress!
