Sick pay is done at statutory rate
Full pay and the length increases the longer you stay.
The best thing about Enterprise sick day is that you are entiitled to 5 in a year however it can also be used a s a choice day if you have other plans
There are 5 choice days which you can use for anything - sickness, picking child up from school, getting home for the world cup - anything!
Hate hate hate enterprise. Hubby been signed off sick with stress for 4 weeks after I collapsed and ended up in icu (4th hospital stay in 3 months) & 16 yr old son took a massive paracetamol overdose. He had been commuting just under 3hrs per day to work in Spalding then Boston thus being out of the house upto 14hrs per day on top of looking after me & our 2 youngest aged 6 & 7. He finally broke after we found our son very ill.........to make matters worse they have paid him just over £500 for the month and HR have said he is only entitled to SSP NOT his normal wage despite being a full time employer. They have absolutely broken him and added immense pressure to his stress.......... I DESPISE THAT COMPANY it is enough to makr him swing from the rafters........WE CANNOT EVEN PAY OUR MORTGAGE NOW SO RISK LOSING OUR HOME!!!!!!!
You get paid for sick day which is super duper fun
The sick pay is titled "Choice Time" which is unscheduled leave of all kinds. There are only 5 days allocated for it per year, so it's not unlimited. There can be disciplinary repercussions if one starts to try to use their annual leave for sick days after all of their Choice Time is used.
Its clear what you get from the offset. As a manager you still get commission based on branch performance even if your off sick.
6 months full pay depending on what the illness is for and your level.
The worst thing is only 5 sick day in 1 year s are paid at full pay, anything over has to be unpaid or SSP which isn’t great
