Reward and benefits

  • A minimum of 25 days annual leave
  • A non-contributory pension offering between 6% to 12% contributions

    The company subsidises food in its canteen. Paid holidays match with that of the UK standard - 20/21 days a year plus bank holidays. There is sick leave.

    No opt-in for contract employees. Full time employees seemed reasonably satisfied with elements of benefits package, particularly those earning an advanced degree.

    The package really is good and if you don't spend your "pot" you're able to get the rest as taxable cash

    You get a yearly allowance from which to choose various benefits, or you can take the allowance as cash. There is not a huge choice but it includes the common ones such as private medical cover for family (yours is already provided), additional holiday and childcare vouchers

    I did not get a benfits package. I was an intern therefore I was entitled to get a benefits package. You may have to get information from someone that has worked at the FCA for a couple of years.
