‘Full pay for 20 working days within 12 months’
‘As much as you want’
Pension contribution, holiday allowance, and family-friendly benefits were really good. Could think more about a focus on D&I and apprenticeships.
The best pension package of anywhere I've worked! Includes 3 years death in service and other standard benefits. Working from home is encouraged. Flexible working to accomodate childcare. Ability to buy 5 days holiday. There's always free food around the office and free company lunch once / month. 5pm beer & wine on Fridays. Summer and Christmas company parties. Showers in the office, bicycle parking and corporate discounts for local gyms. Free eyetest and voucher for glasses.
Ability to buy extra holiday days
Lots of benefits to choose from and if you want to utilise benefits above you cash allowance you can still benefit from the company rates and salary sacrifice
Pension matching up to 6% of salary 26 days holiday, but you can work from home whenever you want, so you can blag a few days extra Travel loan
The company puts a lot of effort in to creating a good culture for employees. They have established a 'Culture Club" of employees that plan and organise all the company activities with no Management interference. This includes Beer O'Clock demos on Fridays, rap battles, regular parties e.g. Halloween and company lunches.
The best part is that there is a large choice of benefits ranging from money for the gym to travel loans. Everyone is able to choose between these benefits. There are also benefits in the office like company lunches and parties. The worst part is that the options are not appealing to everyone so they cannot be used.
Pension is good Holidays is low and does not increase with service
Thank you for your feedback. At Findmypast we believe we offer a very competitive and flexible benefits package, which is equivalent to 6% of your overall salary. 3% automatically goes to your pension scheme, however you can use the remaining 3% in a number of ways including to top up the company contribution to your pension scheme. We also consider our holiday allowance of 26 days per year to be in line with other companies, and this year we have also offered all employees the option to buy an additional four days of annual leave on top of this. Generally, you could only choose one thing. So either Pension Contributions or Bike to Work scheme. Options were limited.
Hi, thanks very much for your comment. At Findmypast we believe we offer a competitive and flexible benefits package, equivalent to 6% of your overall salary. 3% automatically goes to your pension scheme, however you can use the remaining 3% in a number of ways; to top up the company contribution to your pension scheme, or chose from a range of other benefits including gym membership, dental cash plan, health cash plan, private health care, cycle to work or childcare vouchers. We also offer interest free travel loans. Alternatively you can choose to take the remaining 3% as a cash allowance with your salary. We also offer softer benefits including free subscription to our products for all employees, monthly free company lunch, free fruit in our offices, and regular social events including Friday beers and a summer party. We continue to review this on a regular basis so we'd love to hear any other suggestions you may have regarding our benefits. Please do get in touch with the Talent team!
