The maternity policy in the UK is weak. It is statutory which is 6 weeks at 90% pay. Most other financial institutions based in London offer a minimum of 4-6 months full pay with decreasing pay up to 9 months.
I said there's no bonus because it is up to the sole discretion of FR Management whether or not there will be bonuses each year. Last year there wasn't one.
