The work culture is really good. Back when I was L4, I pushed hard against a project proposal from a L5 and a L8. I was young and stupid and did not even think about the level difference. I argued against them myself, in an open meeting. Lucky for me these 2 leads are very technical and professional. They never tried to hard-hand their proposal. Instead they spent hours in the span of a few months working with me, listened to me and incorporated my ideas in their design. When I applied for promotion these 2 were my strong supporters. Through the 7 years here I see this culture very consistently. I told this story to my friends at some other big tech, I was told what I did would have killed my career at their companies.
