nothing much really. it is all good
The answer to this is that it depends what team you work in and what the expectations are. My FTE contract permits one day a month work from home (WFH). I find it hard to do in practice due to meetings and the need for direct access to equipment. A few senior ICs seem to do it all the time, but they are super secure in their jobs and appear to have settled in their skills and aspirations.
Fairly flexible, though you get the impression management isn't actually happy about this
Good comms systems to stay in sync.
Can work from home as long as manager approves
Work from home could be accepted depending on the managers. It's pretty much open to anyone
If not needed to be physically somewhere, it was possible to work from home.
Never allowed due to secrecy within office
You can work from home whenevery you like.
Flexibility especially for working parents
