Off sick get calls everyday, uncomfortable feeling
pretty long for sick leave
The civil service is generous for sick pay, with up to six months after a year of service. You could then take a leave of absence.
Being on old terms I have six months on full pay if sick. New terms are different, less favourably of course but that is the way of this world
Good annual leave, lots of time off each year
Changes to guidance over recent years bringing in stricter formal measures more in line with outside industry. Although initially on full pay, reducing to half after 6 months once moved onto nil pay - where sick in next few years, will still affect rated and be on nil pay. Guidance on keeping in touch also revised significantly in recent years, some examples of it being invasive and causing additional stress to colleagues already ill.
Generous sick pay compared to other employers, although this is changing.
They will pay it yo.
Very understanding and supportive of helping you get back to full strength but HR requires the days to be kept down, so people come to work when they shouldn't
Paid full salary for 6 months then reduced to half pay I think
