Big things - Excellent private health care including dental. Very good pension (for the private sector). Standard holiday but good flexibility. Good life and critical health insurance. Little things - Amazing extra perks. Gym membership for a few quid, subsidized social activities, table tennis table, great summer and Christmas parties etc. etc.
Best thing is the gym membership- it is great to be able to afford gym membership, which is really useful if you have had a stressful day and just need a break at either lunch or after work. There is also a good network of people who organize out of work meet-ups etc. Salaries are not always great (it depends which department you are in, and your manager!), and despite having a re-structuring and review of positions, grade boundaries etc., it still seems very biased and lots of people are unhappy. There are no other benefits- no bonuses and salaries are not great- particularly for the cost of living in the area!
Private health insurance, subsidised gym membership, pension, holiday, paid maternity and paternity leave, life insurance, childcare vouchers
Gym, Pension scheme, bicycle scheme, health insurance
Benefits package is not substantial especially when compared with other companies in this sector
