    I work from home 2 days a week as standard, but I can increase this or move my days around on any given week depending upon personal or business needs.

    Not every manger is willing to go down this route. You still find old style management in the public sector and they are not fully equipped to handle employees working from home regularly

    Imperial has a good VPN service that allows you to connect from college machines from home. Some software packages are able to be installed on your home computer that can be purchased for a discount or for free from the college.
