We are very sorry to hear your concerns, if you have any suggestions of benefits that you would like to see introduced then we would certainly be open to hearing them. I would also like to take this opportunity to remind you of a couple of points: - The death in service benefit is important to many of our employees as it ensures that their dependents will be financially secure in the event of their death. It has also helped numerous employees with the likes of mortgage applications etc. - A number of the benefits we offer are part of Government legislation (e.g. the pension) and have limited financial costs to the business (e.g. employee discounts, cycle to work scheme, healthcare cash plan, childcare vouchers), however, they are no less important or valued by the employees that use them. - In addition to this Intercity also offer a number of benefits that are at an expense to the business. Intercity offers enhanced annual leave and enhanced pay for maternity, paternity and sick leave. There is also the incentive portal, where employees can earn points to spend on experiences such as spa days and driving experiences. We also have the Employee of the Quarter and Long Service Awards. There is then all of the internal events (volunteering leave, pancakes to celebrate pancake day, Domino’s pizza days - to name a few) and external events (drinks nights, summer BBQ, pub quiz and Christmas party). As a Business Development Manager you will also have a car allowance, access to the commission scheme and the 2016 Intercity Olympians incentive scheme (where you can earn vouchers, experiences, mini breaks and holidays).
