At Wetherspoon, we are committed to ensuring that our staff are rewarded for their hard work.
Our success is down to the fantastic teams which run our pubs.
Interesting support from the team
You get 20% off food and drink when you are not on shift and then 50% off whilst on shift or an hour before/after. There are some bonuses if the pub has done well but they aren’t very frequent. Have to pay for your drink on shift.
+50% discount on duty and 20% discount (food and alcohol) off duty +opportunities to progress +8.45 p/h trained team leader -usually understaffed -high staff turnover -having to do other peoples jobs
discount for food and drinks was good and handy. Always a wetherspoons around the UK. The bonus was basically non existent however but it was put down to stock and other staff performance so you got let down for working hard
Higher ranks get more benefits and you do receive long term service benefits
Bonuses is the audits go well and we smash kpi’s. Worst thing is need to give a lot of notice for holidays. They offer zero hour contracts so no worker rights and hours could be cut on performance. Or if manager has grudge.
Discount off food & drink
Get regular bonuses (Monthly and 3 quarterly) based on pub performance, hours very flexable, I go full time when im on holiday from uni and there normally pretty fair.
Holidays 28d. -30d. extra 5d every 5 years of service. 50% and 20% discounts. Full paid training program and more.
Staff discount both on and off shift. Was a great part time job as a student where management were flexible with working hours around term time.
