The best thing about the benefits package at J Sainsbury is the discount that can be used in store and at any other stores.
A good holidays allowance package
The discount was good? I guess. 10% sometimes 15% for big shops when my mum could use it she would save 20-10 pounds which is quite good
- Best thing is the flexible working- - Worse thing - most of the policies are manager's discretion (so if you get a good one, you're on to a winner but imagine the worst if you get one that doesn't understand family circumstances like a day off with your child, or the need to go to the doctors and WFH, or worse still the long term flexibility needed for carers, or if they're not interested in development they probably struggle to admit the 2 days personal dev days allowed )
Basic salary - very basic, an extra 50p per hour for risking your driving licence. This had been reduced so drivers who had been there longer were earning an extra £1.25 per hour
Ok benefits not bad for offers
very good package, staff discount and profit sharing schemes
There wasn't really any other than a pension scheme if you are over 21. Holidays are pretty hard to get, especially in summer.
Very good health insurance with an amazing pension plan. The holidays are very generous too as you can be allocated up to 42 days off
Poor comparable salary and poor staff discount.... 10% off food....most of the employees dont shop there as it's to expensive
