‘You could take up to 3 sick days for every 6 months.’
‘After 12 weeks, you get 10% off at Sainsbury’s or Argos, in-store and online. Plus 25% off Habitat in store.’
‘Having to do this form’
the pay is fairly decent
People are lovely, good pay for night work you get extra £2.45 an hour between midnight and 5am. Discount card after 3 months. Managers never appreciate your work, even during COVID they never said thank you.
Holidays had to be booked 6 months in advance which was a pain since you can't really know what you will be doing so far in advance, however, it wasn't too difficult to change the dates further down the line. The Love rewards scheme was awarded fairly regularly in our store - usually £5 or £10. Money was redeemable as money off various different companies (clothing, food etc) or you could just to change it to money.
Colleague discount benefit across brands
• A discount card after 12 weeks that gives you 10% off your Sainsbury’s shopping, 10% off at Argos and 25% discount at Habitat. • A cycle to work scheme. • Special offers on gym memberships, restaurants, holidays, retail vouchers and more.
Discount 10%. Sometimes goes up to 15%
The customers are very kind, the pay is good. Sometimes you get a lot of privileges
good, very good, excellent over all good
Every colleague receives a discount card which has a standard discount of 10% that can be used in Sainsburys, Argos and Habitat stores. At certain points across the year (e.g. Christmas, Easter, August Bank Holiday etc.) the discount is raised to 15% for a weekend or so.
Sainsbury's L&G pension is appalling. It was refunded to me by default, so I lost almost £2000 of Sainsbury's contributions.
