‘It was available and good to have ’
Company signs you up to an online perk website much like student discount. Statutory sick pay is given. Basic annual leave allowance.
Stepping stone not great benefits
Best Regular free corporate events Worst Minimum holiday entitlement Poor pension No training fund for professional development
offer the lowest contribution to pension. lowest amount of holidays 20 days no health care
company offers minimal holiday and no other benefits
A lot of events are organized - mostly drinking event but also athletic ones
The best thing is the taste card!
Company perks are good - theres lots of socials etc. However the holiday needs to be improved.
JDX's benefits programme is a work in progress but I would expect that from a firm that has grown to the size it has as quickly as it has. When I joined, the comany was just starting out and had a limited benefits package to match but during my time with JDX, the benefits on offer have definitely increased - the employee loan scheme is particularly useful for recent grads looking to put deposits down on houses etc. and there's a wide range of company-funded socials and outings like yoga classes, salsa evenings, movie nights, sports teams and talent show evenings. From speaking to friends at other companies, it seems that JDX is unique in providing these things and other perks like expensable 'buddy' lunches for free. There's talk of work being done on the benefits package which I look forward to hearing about - things like corporate discount rates offered on more gyms would be great.
Company is very good and understanding
