Most head office roles allow flexible working - however buying and merch is trickier

Flexible working is more for the company then you. Its more to make you available when they need you then for you to come in when you want. But really what do you expect in retail. You can use this to your advantage, and its nice that its an option.

This works in two ways, you have to be flexible for the business as they are to you. If you have other commitments or a family, John Lewis tend to work around you and curate a rota that works for you, but this can also mean they may require you on days you are not usually to work and request you to change.

You can Time bank your shifts, but it can be difficult to claim back the time
