The most lucrative benefit (past the base salary) is the pension scheme. In the UK they contribute a huge amount to your pension if you max it out. You contribute 5%, they contribute 5% You contribute 6%, they contribute 7% You contribute 7%, they contribute 10% You contribute 8%, they contribute 12%. I've not found anywhere the does a pension of this level, it adds a potential huge amount to your compensation package if you choose to contribute 8% to your pension fund.
