great atmosphere great place great people
Good pension, no private healthcare or life insurance
Great benefit packages, in particular maternity leave and the sabbatical year, which are very helpful and appreciated by all employees
The pension contribution rate is very high which considerably eats away at your take home pay. Will pay off in the long run though.
The facilities are the best. Wide screen computers with top notch chairs.
everyone is friendly and nice. professors are good and caring about students. the lectures are fun and interesting
If you happen to work after 22:00 (because the shift is from 19:00 to 22:00) they don’t pay you.
Good annual leave and very flexible working. Unless I had to be at the college for laboratory time or seeing participants, able to work from home. May not be the same in all departments.
The University has a great discounted access to sports facilities and also offers a cycle to work scheme, and some departments have shower facilities so you ensure you are ready for work if you get soaked on your way to work.
Good annual leave allowance
