I was a temporary member of staff so the benefits included a staff discount card and a staff cafeteria. However the benefits were not monetary based. The benefits were mainly receiving praise from managers.

This is the best retail job. The staff is so warm and welcoming. Interview process is simple and fun and their pay is good too

Best thing is the staff they are all friendly and, when able, are flexible if you need to change a shift.

20% staff discount which I think is great, particularly because you can use it in conjunction with the offers you receive on your Sparks card. The Sparks card usually discounts items you buy regularly. For example, I get 20% off Rosie for Autograph regularly. Some items in this collection are 3 for 2, meaning I get the 3 for 2 deal, then 20% off, then a further 20% staff discount. You can really make some amazing savings! I feel the holidays are quite generous for retail and managers (at least in my experience) will always try their best to accommodate you if you need time off. Another perk is that as a permanent member of staff, my contract (and most of my team's contracts too) allows for every second weekend off. Being a student who only works around 16 hours a week, this is brilliant that they are able to do this. I have been working here for over 4 years whilst still at school and now as I near the end of uni and have always been paid the same amount as older members of staff; every customer assistant gets paid the same rate, no matter their age.
