Well I have high hopes for my future working in M&S, as I am yet to start. I can say I am very excited and looking forward to working within one of the UKs most favoured retailers.

Once you've passed the probation period you are entitled to things like paid holidays and sicks leave. These are good benfits

The holiday allowance is good, and if you are permanent you do get sick pay. However we are not really told much about things like the insurance, save as you earn, etc

20 days holiday with up to 20 days of statutory top-up. 20% discount. There's also a rewards thing, but I'm not overly sure what it actually is.

You get 20% off staff discount, which is good. You get a pension plan which is beneficial for future purposes. However, if you stay within the company for too long there will never ever be progression in your career. They do not set a guide when the graduate vacancies are open as some graduates are looking for to the graduate scheme. Also staff do take advantage of you if your good at your job and can work at a quicker pace.
