Allowed working from home or as many hours as you think is necessary as long as you deliver on time.

Microsoft are champions in this category - they want to empower consumers to work flexibly, so they start from within the company, which is very nice to see.

Accountable for your deliverables. Not for being in the office for 8 hours a day. However, vice versa, there are many days where you work 18 hours a day and weekends.

You could flexible work whenever you wanted providing your manager was aware and it was an acceptable circumstance

Whilst Microsoft is a great company for being able to work remotely I don't think it embraced the true meaning of flexible working (ie permanent change to hours and days). Many of the roles do not lend themselves to this and I don't think that Microsoft is any different from lots of other companies

MSFT employees are set up to work remotely with excellent tools/connections to do so. Impressive!

Depends on your manager but the tools available mean you can work from anywhere and anytime - the corporate heartbeat is definitely Seattle so lots happens when they wake up in the evening UK time (the downside of flexible working)
