Brillant sick pay policy, you get up to 1-year full pay if you're ill depending on how long you've worked there.
You can take up to 6 months sick leave with full pay after passing initial probationary period with sick note. Also offer occupational health referrals and make workplace adjustments upon return to work, offer a employee care helpline which can be used while absent for counselling, financial difficulty help etc. Offer phased returns on full pay too.

They pay you whatever you deserve, if it is within reason or not. If you aren’t really sick the managers will know
