Best: On site canteen with decent food at decent prices. Free fruit, coffee, milk, tea. Cheap sodas and stuff like that. Employee supermarket with heavily discounted items. On-site post-office (you'll only know how good this is when you don't have it...) Worst:

Some software teams will need to provide out of hours support and after 6-12 months, you will be put on a rota. You will get paid £300 each week you are on the rota and 1.5x hourly pay for when you are called. Depending on how many people are on the rota, this could make up a substantial amount of your income.
