It's the best package I've come across while job searching in the UK and they keep improving it by responding to employees suggestions.
Pension contribution is really low and no employer matching either.
Best: good work/life balance Improvement: healthcare coverage (this is underway though)
Overall good but needs better health care packages as a priority. The 'fully stocked kitchen' has drastically reduced over years due to 'budget cuts' and the options available contain the exact same crisps, fruit, chocolate bar, nuts every day with no variety. They cater for vegans, gluten free etc but they don't cater for any 'fun snacks' and although teams make suggestions its always the same week in week out. No idea why they buy Soreen malt bars as no one seems to eat them?! The new joiners breakfast or lunch also disappear too. If you drink alcohol you are in luck because there's always plenty of beer and wine for OnFridays but if you don't drink alcohol you may wonder where all that budget is going...Quarterly dinners with the whole team also gone (shame as was way to get to know eTeam). Social budget each quarter with your team is dependant on a lead that actually can be bothered to organise one. People abuse the 'bettertogether' monthly £10 lunch expense with the same people buying a lunch, taking a photo of 'eating it together'. You get shares to vest but no one has any idea if this will mean anything one day, perhaps 10 years in future...
They have a flexible work schedule
Salaries, share options, flexible working
There is a company pension programme, and a decent cash-back health insurance, and subsidised gym membership. There is paid holiday and sick pay, and also emergency family leave.
Benefits for engineers are below market average. No bonus. Stock options are <3-4k with 4 years vesting.
Great range of benefits which are tailored to each local office. Different forms of health care, fitness subsidy, free food and drinks, team social events, stock option programmes.
Depending on your manager it is easy to arrange flexible working i.e. working from home, coming late or leaving early. So long as the job is done well that is the most important thing.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
