Good sentiment behind benefits, but too many little vouchers or % off random outlets, not enough mental health days off or similar
Private health insurance Bike 2 work scheme
Standard package that you'd expect in a SaaS company. Pros: In addition to healthcare, gym discount and 25 day's leave, the company also gives 1 hr early finish Friday once a month (although depending on your team this is not held sacred), support for wellbeing and volunteering and remote office allowance for equipment / comfort. Cons: ESOP is available but options are given at senior management discretion and not a standard part of the package, as in other companies of this size. It is made clear by leadership that these discretionary invites are given based on performance and living our values, but it is less clear what the threshold is for an employee to get offered options.
Offered a good pension scheme
Technical Account Manager
Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?
