‘All good with sick pay’
Not a great package
As with most airlines, travel perks are the biggest benefit, although I feel that QR’s offering is less attractive than others ie not recognising a common law partner as a spouse, not allowing you to pay a reduced price to travel in business class. Not offering you any further ‘loyalty’ perks like free annual tickets. Apart from this, they offered a really great healthcare package. Top of the range. The tax for that was another thing altogether. The pay package itself was higher than most of their competitors.
staff trave perks, training opportunities in Doha
In the UK the company offers benefits such as covering the cost of shoes and dry cleaning for uniform. The overall travel benefits are good. ID90 and ID50 flights on QR and about 100 other airlines. Very easy to use staff travel. Benefits for immediate family only and economy class only. Above certain grades you get health care too. Good annual leave allowance. No bonus scheme though but extra week's pay at Christmas.
I'm a transman planning a trip to India. Considering flying Qatar Airways or Etihad. Both are middle eastern airlines with layovers in Doha and Abu Dhabi. Should I avoid these layovers since we hear horror stories about LGBTQ people in that part of the world? Have any trans folks traveled through these airports before?
Is Seychelles worth it? Currently hold the business class on Qatar airways from North America to Mahe in the later Oct this year, plan to burn my Hilton points by staying at Hiltons at Silhouette island and Mahe island, no plan to visit La digue nor Praslin. Is this still worth it? Seems visiting that two islands is a must when visiting Seychelles.
No worst thing specific. JUst that sometimes your salaries would get delayed. But other benefits are there always. Nothing too best also.
