Not available for all employees, but quite a lot of people have it as part of their contract. Even for those that don't, managers are encouraged to allow flexible.
With you work as engineer you work from home 100% although that doesn't mean you can't go to the office. Also company promoted a lot of integration to get the team together not just your team together. If you not an engineer you still can get some days wfh and work hours at the office are flexible.
It is very lonely, as most people do it all the time. Ironically this implies that when you want to interact with people and get to the office, nobody from your team is there.
Red Hat provides "Work From Home" options for many different positions. For most of them also provides all the necessary equipment to set up a home office (external monitor, printer, docking station and so on) and pays for the internet connection.
Most managers allow a great deal of flexibility. Many employees 100% work from home.
I work remotely although I probably do 80 hrs a week I enjoy it
