The sick pay is done on a fair and scored system
Only managers get more than standard
Sickness is rated on a Bradford Score. The more instances of sickness , dependent on the amount of days off accumulates a score. Once the score is over a certain benchmark then sickness is not paid
Once you're out of the probation period (6 months) sick pay is paid based on bradford factor scores.
Colleague had mental health issues,docked her all of her sick pay despite doctors note.
Have recently taken long term sickness due to a leg break and company have been great. I have been working from home on and off but received full payment
Good and fair, could be reviewed to not negatively impact those who try to return to work then go off again. Can feel a little impersonal with front line roles and that very few exceptions are made.
It;s the UK - they have to pay you sick pay.
