Good benefits - generous holiday and the option to buy more. Number of additional benefits, shares, private health insurance and many more.
HR worked very hard to improve the benefits package available and took good steps forward over the last few years.
The money saving consessions are great, private health care is pretty good too
From the start the benefits and discounts were clearly explained.
It is really comprehensive, from sight tests to mental health, I cannot fault the benefits here, they are a brilliant reason to work for Saga and one of the reasons I stay
You get so many local benefits working for saga as well as some corporate discounts as well that are really easy to take advantage of
Good pension here though it’s about to change for the worst.
Free private medical insurance and a number of different concessions and discounts for local businesses, services and suppliers. Discounts on flights, hotels and travel services for staff and eligible family and friends. Opportunity to purchase additional holiday each year. Some benefits are of no significance to me such as child care vouchers, cycle to work, insurance discounts (for the over 50's). I think to improve this and save the company money, there should be a way to select your own benefits package that is bespoke to the employee. This would then identify what is important to people.
The health, company car and staff concessions are actually really good, however a recent review of pensions means that their offerings isn't as compelling as it once was.
The pension was good the rest of the benefits were poor
