‘You get paid a fair amount of Sick Pay and depending on your pay grade, you get more/less days.’
Lots of holiday with a work/life balance.
Range of benefits and discounts including retail, local gyms, phone contracts
Fixed benefits with no flexibility to change them to what's relevant to individual circumstances, the pension contribution isn't bad but flexible working isn't consistent across departments
The friendly staff, warm environment, very good pension scheme, all colleagues are invited to events to enable them to progress and learn. I can't think of anything negative in regards to the benefits package.
Flexible working arrangements, Good pension benefits. Could do with Give as You Earn options.
The benefits of working for Skipton are fantastic, they offer useful discounts with shops and restaurants which employees actually go to - depending on your level of pay you get more benefits but that's fair.
Best was flexibility and worst was no company car allowance
Best: 4x life cover, DC pension scheme with employer contributions of up to 10%, flexibility to buy or sell up to a weeks holiday, employee discounts, some benefits are optional where you can choose to buy into them Worst: so many benefits its difficult to know/understand them all. Just needs some time investment on my part.
Discounted gym membership, health care, better mortgage rates and fast-track process for employees and loans/cards etc. Nothing else to add here.
Good holiday allowance, flexible working and working from home should be more consistent across departments
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
