Really flexible - such a refreshing attitude. I work from home once a week & my manager made it really clear even before joining that it's not a 9-5 type of environment. I panicked in my first few weeks & text my manager when I was stuck in traffic just before 9am. He text straight back to say I don't need to text him if I'm going to be late or leave early as he knows how hard I'm working.... I've never had that anywhere before & the difference it makes is huge!

If you have a work laptop at home and you cannot make it into work you can work from home.

Working from home is something that people can do when there is a "need", i.e. childcare, waiting for a parcel/plumber, travel issues, slightly ill, etc. People don't generally work from home otherwise. Company culture is not set up very well for regular working from home - you miss out on knowing what's going on as people discuss in person without always copying to email/Slack.
