Cheap or discounted insurance especially travel - I dont drive but I'd guess that car insurance was a good deal as well.
Good thing is the base pay has been increased but still too low and the top end of bonus structure requires you to do tasks that are not part of your own job in order to qualify so therefore impossible to achieve.
There isn't one really, it's the legal minimum
The whole package is pretty below par
The best thing about the benefits package used to be the personal training allowance, however that has now been frozen. The annual holiday entitlement is low at only 20 days, there is no option for Volunteering time off, the maternity pay is statutory, sick pay is only given after 12 months of service and the employee discount isn't worth anything (despite the 'discount' my insurance quote is always far higher)
Good staff discount, holidays OK, life assurance is a plus.
Best - Senior manager bonus scheme is competitive with other employers and has regularly been paid. - Company car scheme for Senior Managers is good. Worst - The complete lack of other benefits available. - Inflexible working practices. - Company pension is the worst company stakeholder-pension I've ever seen.
Just simply not good enough if you consider how poorly the company pays salary initially, never rewarded for improving or becoming more skilled, start on a poor salary which is then difficult to move off.
It's not competitive with local organisations
Very poor standard holiday allowance (20 days), bare bones pension scheme, very low maternity pay
