Tesco is great place to work. Good benifits
The possible benefits seemed great however accessing them proved difficult. However the discount card after 6 or 3 months of employment is great
Share scheme is amazing. There is also 10% of Tesco at all times with certain weekends being more. You get to enter savings plans.
Great Benefits Pension -Sick Pay Holidays - Discount in Store and on Line Discount on other retailer
Meh. It is what it is
Dont get your 10% off colleague discount until you have worked there for 6 months, only got time and a quarter for Sunday work and bank holidays
They provide double discount around 4 times a year. Depending on your store they can be pretty flexible.
You receive x 5 holidays what you work, so I work 3 days a week x 5 = I get 15 days holiday. You receive 10% off, isn't really much except on big shops. 20% is worth it when they do it on some occasional weekends. At Christmas, you received 20 £1 coupons in your Christmas colleague book which really helped knock some money off your bill, but now they have shortened it to use 3 at a time -pathetic! If you ring in sick, you will not get paid. You will only get paid if you have a sick note - and full pay is not for 6 months.
you get 10% off.
The pay for part-time work is very good for a student at £9.45 per hour, they give you a fair bit of holiday which is nice but they will get on you if you have any sick days off.
