Receiving free products on a regular basis when done more than expected, holiday is good too
Staff discount is good, I can't really remember what else was included in the benefits package, discounted health care was part of it, there were discounts on other items from the Loreal group too, which was good as I am a beauty junkie.
No significant perks other than the 50% discount in store.
Great benefits! 50% off on all items in store. 10% in sale items. I basically have a mini Body Shop at home
It was okay, you got 50% off products in store as well as if your store hit targets you would get a certain amount of money to get free products from the store. (e.g. £20 to spend on whatever products to the total of £20, can't go over) Sometimes when new products would come out you would do a 'learn it to earn it', which meant you would learn stuff about it and if you got it right you would get the product. Sometimes the managers would give you random products that were made testers but never used or returned products that were written off as stock adjusted you can get. (Don't think they were meant to, but normally this would happen just before a stocktake so they can't have excess stock in the premises.) If your store is top for e.g. skincare in the country for that week you can get a 3 step skincare routine (cleanse, tone, moisturise) When you join you get 5 free products and these can be refilled while you work there 3 times a year. If you quit you are meant to receive a £10 voucher as well. However the store I worked in was dodgy about rewarding staff and given them their rewards, you had to always ask to have them. If you didn't, you wouldn't receive them. It took me 4 months before I got my entry 5 items. (I recommend getting the most expensive products you can because some of them, even with 50% off, aren't worth that price).
Good place to work. Growth opportunities
Free new products before launching when completing Learn It to Earn it activities on the NPDs.
Loads of bonuses for improving sales and weekly products to test or as rewards. Christmas bonus in vouchers, company schemes, help with buying a bicycle
No benefits for temp workers, despite being put under more pressure than regular workers. Including no sick pay for employees (which is illegal in the UK) EVEN if you're sick because you're sick because your manager came in when they had a stomach bug and passed it on to you.
Amazing 50% staff discount on everything in store, as well as you get to choose 5 different products for free at the beginning of your employment, and after get to choose 3 more after three months.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
