The best pension in the UK. Non-contributory for the individual and based on average earnings across your career. Whilst it is not as good as the previous pension schemes it is still significant.

Currently not too bad, were better, have a choice between defined benefit or defined contrition however, like most things with the periodic changes introduce as part of so called 'modernisation' are not improving, i.e. having to pay more for less and for later 'benefit'.

The pension plan is very generous and can be taken early as part of the retirement plan. It is non contributory.

The pension plan is good as it matches 2:1 pension contribution. You are also allowed to leave earlier and transferring your pension to another employment.
