  • Annual Leave  (12 comments)

“It existed, at least, but probably only because it's the law. Favouritism would rule supreme regarding bookings, though.”

  • Job Training  (5 comments)

“You're thrown in at the deep end, and you're expected to just learn as you go along. There was barely structure to the job training...”

There are no benefits for working for Voyage Care. They have a discount scheme which has such small discounts it not worth the time or effort. They also say they do a long service reward which is an insulting 25 pounds for five years. More insulting than a bonus. They also do a awards ceremony each year where you might be lucky to receive a certificate!!

The benefits package was as bare-bones as you can get. Annual leave, holiday leave, Statutory Sick Pay... that's about it.

Can be confusing to set up, but once done there are many benefits and price reductions on products and stores!

Best thing is being part of the ‘family’ at the home and the home manager and my fellow staff Benefits financially are negligible, minimum wage, no extra for weekends, nights or most bank holidays. They have a few other things like cycle to work scheme, employee helpline, nothing I found of benefit to me. Long service ‘bonus’ is a joke. No sick pay above ssp.

There is non...well non that's useful. We have a thing called boost, but I, and most employees don't want pointless benefits, we want enhancements for weekends, for late shifts, a better sick/maternity/paternity pay.
