We are committed to making Voyage a fantastic place to work, and as such we offer a range of employee benefits targeted at the needs of our workforce.
Our employee assistance programme offers independent advice and support to employees 24 hours a day. The programme gives access to counselling and other practical support to help our employees in times of need.
We also offer a retail discount package with some great offers spanning from holiday discounts to gym memberships. Our employees can also make use of salary sacrifice schemes such as Childcare Vouchers and Cycle to Work.
And we have even more planned for the coming months; look out for updates.
Current and former employees report that Voyage Care provides the following benefits. It may not be complete.

‘If the manager actually talked through when I'm supposed to take my annual leave and how I book it, through the induction which I never got then its easy. Like it was easy for him to give an induction on it to his golden girl from expensive private education. Who called me a PRO in front of the men to make herself look good’
‘The training is the best I've ever experienced and I've come from the highest security of training when safeguarding babies under 2 years ’
They are flexible with hours
If you live in a big house, have a large body frame, and are highly educated then you get free meals in the evening with the residents. Day staff get free cinema tickets, free drinks out at Costa, theatre tickets, free Mcdonalds and KFC all when out with residents. I was told straight away by the then manager "we don't provide food here lisa".... yet i had a lot less than any of his golden girls who he liked. I wouldn't put my own family in any a care home.
Staff go against attachment theory as they say it causes suffering. I am proof that lack of attachment can lead to failure to thrive and no amount if amazing "Environment" can prevent a failure to thrive if there is no attachment
BUPA private health insurance cover,
The worst thing is non British white people are told not to eat any breakfast or food in the house yet The South Africans or non British people get to cook themselves a bacon sandwich or have an evening meal included. Also a South African who couldnt mind her own business, kept poking her nose in my shift had a go at me in front of a resident for helping her to cut cheese for her crackers. Yet that's same south African staff member used to do the residents hair in fancy plates each day so talk about the pot boiling the kettle black.
There are no benefits unless you're a foreigner or fringe South Africa where you are given every opportunity to progress in the company and then onto something even more highly paid when White British people get brushed under the carpet as if they ate not important ( in my own country I might add)
Difficult to access company website and hard to understand how the benefits work
Lots of discount at shops, cinema etc
There are no benefits for working for Voyage Care. They have a discount scheme which has such small discounts it not worth the time or effort. They also say they do a long service reward which is an insulting 25 pounds for five years. More insulting than a bonus. They also do a awards ceremony each year where you might be lucky to receive a certificate!!
The benefits package was as bare-bones as you can get. Annual leave, holiday leave, Statutory Sick Pay... that's about it.
