The company makes millions of pounds profit on a yearly basis. Apparently the profits increase every year. However, this isn't reflected in the employee benefits. Apart from the standard healthcare, pension, cycle to work, childcare vouchers (Which virtually every business offers their employees), there is nothing extra invested in their employees out of these profits. HomeAway could easily accommodate having some kind of loyalty card for example so that employees can get money off in their favourite stores, cinemas or resturants. Many other companies with similarly consistent high levels of profit manage to do this for their employees so why can't HomeAway? They could also encourage employees to book through the site by offering to pay money towards any properties they book through the website (Maybe offer employees a private code or something to enter at the checkout in order to get the discount). That would be a great benefit and would help the employees to actually believe in the brand. But as this is HomeAway and that idea is far too logical, it will be ignored.

great benefits package overall - shows a real level of care for employees and reflects environment. Employee pension contributions on the average side...hope this will improve in the future.

The best thing is that everything is offered to you on a plate but you really need to do your research to really see what you're being offered in your contract.
