‘Good for stationary, but I wish that it was applied for everything. Would make it slightly more worthwhile as there have been more significant benefits at other retail jobs I have had. ’
‘No training was provided until I was there for four years ’
‘Thery're very picky on how much can get in terms of Sick pay, but overall not a bad pay. ’
Pretty standard package. Very flexible working available
The benefits package only kicks in after probation, unless you are a senior hire. There is a charity shop in the head office Swindon where amazing bargains can be found
Only given a 15% discount instoe, not much compared to other companies that offer up to 40% discount, not much to brag about
WHSmith offer fantastic benefits - Up to 50% discount in store and 25% online as well as discount with our partners!
We get discounts on stationary, but that is all. Recently a meal deal has been added but a general discount on all products would be appreciated. As well as getting staff cards out faster.
25% discount after 3 months of being there
Discount card after 3 months of service is the only benefit
Got good annual leave allowance
Varying degrees of discount depending on the type of product, makes the products much more affordable and they sell useful items so it's good discount to have.
Staff discount decreased over period worked there, was poor to start with.
