Employee discount card is the best thing about the benefits package at WHSmith for sure.
In line with the market
Not many perks but flexible hours.
Benefits package is mostly unclear - there was some information about it in the initial online courses when starting work, but after that it's pretty difficult to find out what you're even entitled to, let alone how to go about claiming that.
Hardly any benefits given at all. No incentive to work apart from winning the occasional chocolate bar.
What is a benefits package? I seriously don't know what it is but I get around 20% off certain stuff at work. Fun!
Alright Discount, but limited to Entertainment & Stationery Products only. WHSmith do have great other discounts with loads of other companies.
Takes way longer than it should to receive staff discount card. However, travel benefits are good with the discounted staff meal deal at the airport (£3.30 instead of £3.99)
Bonus, Pension, Good Holiday allowance and chance to earn more / buy more with trading scheme
Decent level of discount and holidays.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
