Employer Summary

We positively encourage flexibility and this has made a big difference to the ways we and our people work. One option is mixing working from home with working at one of our local hubs. You don’t have your own desk, but we’ll give you the technology to work from a wide variety of locations. This means you often get the chance to work alongside people from different service areas and learn more about what they do.

Other flexible working options include:

• flexi-time scheme (for most roles)
• compressed or part-time hours
• job shares or term-time contracts where appropriate

Flexible working suits me very well. I really like the fact that I can work my hours to fit in with my life and this means I can work smarter and am happier in my job. this is the best thing about working for WC.

In our team people can work flexible hours most of the time and there is a rota to cover early and lates to make sure there is always someone available to customers, there is a lot of give and take - we are expected to work hard when we need to but also know that if we have a genuine need to take some time away this will be allowed as long as we make it up or achieve outcomes.
