Originally founded in 1988, primarily to provide private psychiatric services, Cygnet Health Care now delivers an increasingly wide range of services for a number of NHS commissioning bodies. We currently hold contracts with NHS England and 65 other NHS entities across the UK and Wales. Cygnet Health Care employs a wide range of staff to create multidisciplinary teams at each site. These teams vary in their make-up depending on the service provided, but on most sites we have roles for RMNs, consultant psychiatrists, junior doctors, support workers, psychologists, therapists, social workers as well as many roles for staff providing the vital hotel and administrative services that support the excellent clinical work at each hospital.
Fulfilling lives, Fulfilling Careers To us, people are what really matter. Whether it's residents, their relatives or our dedicated team members who look after them, people are at the heart of everything we do at Care UK. Delivering safe, high quality care, tailored to each resident’s needs is a key part of what we do. To help residents lead fulfilling lives, every team member shares our values. Our compassion. Our desire to help and care for others. Our willingness to go the extra mile. And our commitment to seeing the person inside. In return, we help our people enjoy fulfilling careers. We know that working in the care sector can be challenging, but we make it rewarding too. Whatever their role, we give every team member the support they need to thrive. From quality training and varied career paths to a supportive, friendly environment. We care about our people, just as we care about residents.
