My Perm got denied recently because the attorney made a mistake. My h1b maxes out in December next year. I can move to H4 EAD after my h1b maxes out. My question is can an employer file for my perm and i140 on h4 EAD and can I move back to h1b with an approved i140 even after I have used all my 6 years?
Has anyone tried to apply for EB1A in consulting while at one level below the Partner role? Please share your experiences. What were the key criteria that you applied against? Did you also have EB2/EB3 approved i140? Any risks to existing i140 (EB2) application if not approved already? Did you apply it through your consulting firm or through external law firm?
Looking to relocate to Ireland or Canada on a visa sponsorship by an employer. I have all registrations with professional bodies from the 2 countries. Anyone with a successful experience on that kind of relocation?
What has your experience been like with the I-485 timeline? How many months did it take from filing your I-485 to receiving your green card?
Moving to the U.S. on an H1B visa is exciting, but the initial costs can add up fast. I found this guide on personal loans for H1B visa holders useful because it explains how to build credit, compare lenders, and borrow responsibly. If you're also planning to buy a home later, it touches on mortgage options like FHA loans and first-time buyer programs too. Worth the read if you're planning your financial future. https://dreamhomemortgage.com/get-started/
It's per hour so depends on the complexity of your case.
It depends on the client. H-1B legal fees can vary from under $1K to $3500 depending on the size of your employer. This goes up if there is an RFE. Generally speaking, H1B petitions are billed on a flat fee basis and the RFE is likely an additional fee (which could be hourly based).
