What is your greatest weakness for an administrative assistant interview?
How long from your application do you wait before you give up on getting an interview? With all the automated everything these days, why the heck are so many companies ghosting applicants??
This may sound weird but hear me out. I have an interview coming up for a role that I have a strong suspicion is not a good fit for me. So I figure this is a good opportunity to try out some things that I’ve never been brave enough to do before. E.g. try to prioritize making personal connection over demonstrating the fit. I’m looking for more ideas though. Do you have any suggestions or questions that I can try? Happy to report back with results!
Growth Isn’t Always Comfortable One thing I’ve realized in my career journey is that growth often comes disguised as discomfort. The roles that stretch you, the feedback that challenges you, and the moments you feel uncertain—those are usually the turning points. If you’re in a phase where things feel unclear or tough, you’re probably evolving. Stay consistent. Stay open to learning. The results will follow
At this point I’m convinced some companies repost the same job every 3 weeks just to keep HR emotionally fulfilled 😭 How are the same jobs popping up on LinkedIn for months?
What’s the hardest you’ve ever bombed an interview? I once answered a behavioral question so badly the interviewer started helping me formulate my own example halfway through (humanitarian effort on his part, I guess). They rejected me in under 30 minutes. Pretty sure they hit ‘send’ before I reached the elevator, LOL.
I answer this type of question about a skill/task that I may have a basic knowledge in but would like to develop more in depth skills & how I am doing that. For example, ' I have a basic working knowledge of Excel, however I would like to develop my skills to an advanced level. I am undertaking a number of on-line courses to develop my knowledge. This type of response shows self awareness and that you are proactively undertaking measures to address this.
Being to much of a perfectionist, but your working on it to be able to deliver quickly with only 70% of the information available.
?
isn’t that different for everyone
Yes, but I’m asking for examples.
