Have you sensed this issue too? - most JDs are too general , and that the first round interviews are relatively too high level , leading to getting rejected because you are not hitting the experience the hiring team is looking for? I.e. tell me about a time that you took a calculated risk. You talk about the day-2 integration ups and downs. It later turns out that they were looking for someone with experience in risk management in supply chain!😰
It’s a really normal thing, this is happens when someone (Interviewer) is not from the ground / field and/or is threatening someone internally because you’re (Interviewee) over the above for the job.
Like1A potential employer is learning as much from you as you are from them. Sometimes, they keep it vague because they don't know what they actually need. The quality/quantity of candidates helps them understand what they're looking for.
