What Employees Say
I have been working at Accenture full-time for more than 3 years
Fantastic culture, amazing flexibility, good rewards, varied work/projects, lots of extra-curricular activities/groups
Salaries competitive but not market-leading, work/life balance can be questionable at times
I have been working at Amazon full-time
Absolutely blown away by the scale, size, growth and audaciousness of AWS. It is by far and away, the best sales environment I have worked in. I am a new business sales person, and AWS provides all... the resources and support needed to be successful. It's far removed from an organisation that is quarterly driven, and therefore applies pressure to close the deal due to internal pressures. AWS looks at the bigger picture and customer obsession within AWS is the guiding principle and employees are actively encourgaed to have back bone and push back if they think the decisions being made do not benefit the customer. The Leadership Principles reign supreme, and they live an die by these principles. The mindset and approach Amazon has is the reason they are as successful as they are. I worked for Oracle for a short period, and that is the polar opposite of Amazon, customer centricity does not feature, it's all about doing things in the interest of the corporation.
None so far, although I have only been within the business for 2 months
